Is NL Tradepost free for homeowners?

Yes. Browsing and contacting contractors is free: no lead fees, no subscriptions.

How do contractors and handymen join?

Create an account, pay the annual membership ($300 + HST), and set up your business profile. Handymen use the same signup and payment as contractors. See membership details.

Do you sell leads?

No. Homeowners contact you directly. We don't resell inquiries or charge commission on jobs.

Are credentials verified?

Listings are self-reported and clearly labelled. Homeowners should confirm licences and insurance directly with the contractor.

How do I add NL Tradepost to my phone's home screen?

It works like a bookmark with the NL Tradepost icon on your home screen. No app store and no install fees.

iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open nltradepost.ca in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Confirm the name is NL Tradepost, then tap Add.

iPad (Safari)

  1. Open nltradepost.ca in Safari (not Chrome).
  2. Tap the Share button (top right, or in the toolbar).
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen. If you do not see it, tap Edit Actions or More and turn on Add to Home Screen.
  4. Confirm the name is NL Tradepost, then tap Add.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open nltradepost.ca in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu (three dots, top right).
  3. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
  4. Tap Add.

Tip: You can preview the icon on the Add to Home Screen sheet before you tap Add. If an old shortcut shows the wrong image, delete it from your home screen and add it again after a fresh visit to the site.
